Food Consulting Services was founded in 1977 by T.G. Thompson and his wife H.A. Thompson to address a need in the food and food service industries for an independent, professional and skilled third-party testing laboratory and consultation service.
Since those humble beginnings we have grown to a staff of over 40, based at our premises in Midrand, Gauteng. However, our reach is far greater than that and extends throughout South Africa and to all of the neighbouring countries, including Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland and Zambia.
